We are excited to be the host of the 2022 First National Moroccan Aeropress Championship in Marrakech, Morocco on 1 October 2022 at 16:00.
Mark your calendars and be ready to join us for this AWESOME EVENT! This will be a celebration of specialty coffee and Morocco as we enjoy amazing coffee and one another in the historic city of Marrakech.
How this works? The Aeropress Brewer is one of the world’s most famous ways of brewing coffee and can be found in homes and coffee shops all around the world. For contestants – it’s simple! They come and brew their favorite Aeropress recipe. The winner of this event will move on to the World Finals in Vancouver, Canada on Dec 1-3, 2022. We have also partnered with some great sponsors in the coffee industry to provide other great prizes such as premium grinders, hand grinders, coffee and other amazing products.

The Poster – One of the fun elements of the Aeropress Championship is getting to design the poster for the event. For this inaugural event, we brought on Jerry Bennett (@artistjerrybennett) to bring to life a fun play on the classic Mercedes 260 with a Moroccan cat headed to the Aeropress Championship in Marrakech. Jerry has numerous comic book titles that he has illustrated and is Illustrator Coordinator for the Oklahoma/Arkansas Region of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators.
The Host – We are Bloom Coffee and we proudly provide the Kingdom of Morocco with high-quality specialty coffee. The Venue – This year’s championship will be held at M Bacha in Marrakech. A gem of the city, this wonderful venue hosts beautiful decor and amazing service, will be the perfect location to kick off the Aeropress Championships in Morocco.

By taking part, you agree to uphold this mission and adhere to our Code of Conduct: We believe that everyone involved has a right to feel welcomed and valued in our community, regardless of gender, religion, race, age, ethnicity, appearance or sexual orientation.
Behaviour, whether intentional or not, that causes other participants to feel uncomfortable, harassed, or victimised will not be tolerated by the organizers. We expect that members of the W.A.C community be genuinely considerate of others at all times, without exception. Failure to meet this expectation may result in expulsion from an event, without notice or refund. If you are made to feel uncomfortable, or experience it happening to someone else, please notify us immediately.
