Ethiopia Nazimu Abamecha – Natural
130 Dhs – 420 Dhs inc. TVA
Nazimu Abamecha is a dedicated coffee artisan. He meticulously cultivates Forest coffee in the Jimma region on his 13-hectare ancestral farm, divided into three plots known as Bake Suphe, Kile, and Abachebsa. What makes his coffee truly exceptional is the lush, untouched environment in which it thrives, surrounded by a multitude of native tree species, some of which have witnessed over 180 years of life. Remarkably, Nazimu is deeply committed to preserving biodiversity in this thriving ecosystem, ensuring the survival of endangered trees like the Qararo.
The farm’s name, Abachebsa, carries a rich history, tracing back to Nazimu’s great-grandfather, who laid the foundation for this remarkable coffee legacy over a century ago. Nazimu’s journey in the coffee industry has been a long and diverse one, having co-founded and dedicated eight years to the Duromina cooperative. More recently, he has chosen to embark on a solo venture, focusing on enhancing the traceability of his coffee and crafting high-end quality microlots.
